Public Health Dentistry

Dental caries, also known as tooth decay or a cavity, is a  disease where bacterial processes change carbohydrate like sugar in food left on teeth to acid that demineralises hard tooth structure. If demineralisation exceeds saliva and other remineralisation like from fluoride, these tissues progressively break down, producing dental caries (cavities, holes in the teeth).

Once dental decay starts, it affects the entire dentition. Many people search medications for the cure of dental decay.. Once the dental decay starts, it can be cured only by working on the tooth, not by any medications.. Trinity Care Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization involved in Public Health Dentistry.
